I just received my "mini-brick" of 250 John Q. Adams dollars...

...and I don't know which rolls are P's or D's. No markings on the plastic trays.

I'd like to save a roll of each mint but have no clue to which is which.

From what I've read in other threads, I believe they've all been Philadelphia mint marks so far...including my 250.

Edited to add: all of my wrappers had the name of a company from Harrisburg, PA on them. I think this is standard, but I'm not sure.

You'll have to open one of them up. My gut feeling, given that everybody has received P mint's, is that these are all P's!. Especially since they've gone into "unavailable" status on the web site.

At first I thought they would send an order to the closest Federal Reserve and have them shipped from there to save on the costs but it is becoming obvious that perhaps one ballistic bag was set aside specifically for packaging into $250 bricks for distribution under this product level. Therefore, all P Mints.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

That's my term. It's just two plastic trays that holds 5 rolls each.

I'm sure this has been addressed but for $35.95, a mere $10.95 more, one can get a J.Q. Adams roll with a pretty flag motif on the paper and the letter D or P. What a rip.

I received my 250 last week; none of the 5 rolls I've opened are D-Mint coins. I believe it's intentional on the part of the Mint since they want these coins to be introduced into circulation.

Both my bricks have all P mint marks. Already half way through spending the first brick.

They don't want you to save them...but to spend them.
So, they want you to crack them open.

All the ones I opened were "P" but they say they can be either/or/both

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I read Coin World in the library yesterday, and seemed to have noticed that last month or something there were no D mint JQAs minted, but mucho P mints.
