Does anyone have any Musial stuff they would like to share?

I came across this, and thought some of you might enjoy.
Very interesting read: Musial
Once I can get my scanner to cooperate, I will post one of my Musial cards.

Lee(cdnuts), if you want to continue to be a jerk off, please don't bother posting in this thread. The thread is not about you. I get the gest of what you are wanting to do. If you need attention, please start your own thread, and don't even bother to come back into mine.

So...that's a no on a trade, the Musial for a rack pack of Menko's with Mikan showing on all 3 front and back?
<< <i>Nice stuff guys!

Yeah, Lee. Stantheman is the only jerk off allowed on this thread!

Why do you even bother to troll into a thread? You add nothing at all, rather, just look to stir up crap once again.
<< <i>A few years back, my sons and I were lucky enough to meet Mr. Musial at his restaurant in St. Louis where he not only bought us dinner, but gave us each a souvenir glass and a signed ball. (and yes, that's a dirt spot on the ball that just happened to mysteriously appear the morning after we returned home; my sons swear to this day that they didn't play with it
PoppaJ, that spot looks more like some toning, and can result from natural oil in a person's skin. If the ball was handled a little bit, that could have resulted in the spot.
Your sons were probably telling you the truth!

This from the guy who can't post twice in a thread without getting into an argument with 2 or 3 people.

Have you added anything positive to this thread? Have you done anything but troll in and try to derail the thread? The answer to both questions is NO. Now, please go back under your bridge..
This is suppose to be a card and memorablia forum. I post a very on point and positive thread, and you still come in and find a reason to start your bull.
I think you just find a few people on here that you enjoy picking at, and from then on you stalk them in every thread they post in, in hopes of making yourself feel better. That's quite sad..

You can say whatever you want about me, but don’t you dare say a thing about my parents or my upbringing.
As for the “pray for him” comment…who are you? Pacman? Get over yourself you pompous jag.

It was meant to be taken constructively. The sooner he realizes that we are a reflection of everything we have experienced in life, and that we all are seeking the same things in life, the sooner he will grow up.
Carlton told me about the first time he faced Musial. He had heard of what a great batter he was and was expecting the worst. He got Stan to 2 strikes, and as he said, "I slipped and threw the greatest change up I ever threw, and struck Stan out."
The next time he faced Stan in the game he thought to himself, "I got Musial all figured out" and decided to throw another change up. And as Carlton said, "I think that ball is still traveling today!"
One of my favorite stories from Carlton, he still chuckles when he tells it.

How does this end up in a Stan Musial thread on a SPORTS CARDS & MEMORABILIA FORUM???
You guys to to get a life. Sometimes I wonder why I even come these forums.

I don't know why there are a select few that have the need to disrupt every thread. If they want to act like kids, they should go create their own thread to do it in. I don't understand constant need to rain on others parade. It's pure hate.

Very true. It just shows what they are truly about in real life.
Now....... please let's get this thread back on topic, and stay on topic. No need for the other bull anymore.
Thank you to all who have contributed to this thread, with your Musial items and stories. They are truly appreciated, and very interesting.

You know, you're probably right! As I was putting the ball back on our display, I noticed that there were a couple more toning marks, right where fingers would have been if the ball had been handled.
If my sons are innocent, that means that the toning marks are probably from Musial himself. Hmmm! I'm not going to let my sons off the hook just yet ... My youngest son always has this guilt look on his face; I'm waiting for him to crack!
Thank you for your insight, I really appreciate it!

IMO, that is one of the best designed vintage cards ever. Love the color and the detail.
Ask Vin Scully what he thinks of Stan the Man. This guy was class personified.
"Molon Labe"
Does anyone have the TIME issue with Stan on the cover from '48? I have a pretty nice copy, just not scanned at this moment.

You're welcome, PoppaJ. Thank you for sharing your Musial memorabilia.

I was going through some of my stuff and came across this and thought of your thread.
I wonder if Sport Kings was profitable enough to make another series? Haven't heard boo from them since??

I believe they are coming out with another series this year. I can't recall where I read it at, but I'm sure I did.
Neat card, hofautos.

I like your new id. Guess you had to have a new one, after your other was banned.
