Ohhh the horror!!!!!!!!!! This poor 1946-S Jefferson nickel, this just kills me!!

Granted it is not my first one, but to find this again, the rarest Jefferson CPG variety IMO, well it makes me want to cry!image

If you know what you are looking at you must feel my pain also image

    CPG = CherryPicker's Guide

    I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

  • This is my 4th, 2 XF-45's and 1 VF-35 I got into PCGS holders, but this just hurts.

    Die break behind the head? I am not running upstairs to find my CPG at this hour....if I go upstairs, i go to bed.
    Family, kids, coins, sports (playing not watching), jet skiing, wakeboarding, Big Air....no one ever got hurt in the air....its the sudden stop that hurts. I hate Hurricane Sandy. I hate FEMA and i hate the blasted insurance companies.

  • Yeah,

    Just got back into town form overseas, recovering from a chest wound, and my buddy calls me up last night saying he had 6k pre-64 Jefferson's for me. I have been buying them for years, cherrypicking, etc. My soon to be wife (6 weeks) went out to a bar with her friends so I figured I poor a couple of cold ones and start sorting. I sort into pile of 30's, 40's, 50's and 60's. My eyes have always been trained on that ponytail as this variety has always eluded me. 7 years, 4 coins out of over 100,000. Halfway through the bag, after some 1941-S LMM and 2 41-S inverted MM, a 1949 D/S in XF and 2 42 D/D Horizontals in VG and VF. I spot this coin. Look at the date, flip it over and say to myself, SOB!! I have yet to cherry one in UNC, I have every other CPG variety in UNC except for the 1942 D/D Horizontal, my best are AU-50's. Still have half a bag to go and a few more beers.image
