VAM help needed, please. I can't figure it out. revisited, anyone tell me anything about the dot ple

I bought this coin a while back, been in my desk drawer hiding under some papers for some time now and can't figure out which VAM it is....image

It's destined for my 1921 morgan VAM dansco but not until I get the real scoop.

Can ya help a brother out??


I now know itza VAM 16 thanks to coindeuce




So before placing the coin in my VAM dansco I decide to take another look, that is when I spot the dot

    Yer either kiddin', or yer slippin'. It's a late die state of VAM 16; formerly listed as VAM 3S. The smoking gun pickup diagnostic is the die gouge on reverse trailing diagonally left and downward from the right end of the olive branch.imageimage
