Good buy or not Mantle experts needed

I have a chance to pick up this 1958 Mantle for $70 delivered
good deal or not?
what grade do the experts give this card? I will reveal the PSA grade later

I only buy cards that I like and think they look good. The centering on that one hurts my eyes. So no, I would not buy it.

PSA 5 - there is a nicer 7 going off that you might be able to snipe...good luck either way...

It's a popular card, but not a rare card - I'd wait for a better centered one.

Its an All Star card too, not the regular issue. They used to sell for 1/4 the regular issue, but that design is nice too.

I cant comment on the price, last time I collected '58 cards this was a $10 card

But the grade is NRMT o/c....... about a 5-6 IMO

PS. if that is a print line, it actually looks worse than the O/C too me, as far as eye appeal goes.

I would wait for a better centered card or at least one with out the print line on the front, I say it is PSA 5 or PSA 6 at best. pay a little more and get a good one. the eye appeal on this one really sucks. JMO

Would you really want that in your collection?

You can easily get a PSA 5 with excellent centering for $70.

Here's a PSA 6 with better centering than the one you pictured and it was purchased for $62.

Have a little patience and you'll find one in no time!

I would pass on the psa 5 one because of the centering, The one Poppaj showed looks to be a good one to purchase though. Good Luck!
