I have a chance to buy an AU 1835 Bust Quarter.....

for 675. It's a very original coin with all the stuff to pull at least a 53. How big are these right now?
I've done some research but was wanting some opinions. I know it's very difficult to make a decision based on not knowing what the coin looks like, but those of you who have dealt with AU Capped Bust Quarters please chime in. Is the market really all that hot for these right now?

WTB: Barber Quarters XF
There are 8 die marriages for the 1835 date.
Most are available, with the two rarest marriages being the B-3 and the B-8. Both of these marriages have AU coins in the top condition census.
In grades of AU, all but those 2 marriages are obtainable, however there are several other marriages that are more difficult to find in "nice" AU grades.
The B-7 marriage is very easily recognized by the absence of a period after the C of the denomination on the reverse. I have spent considerable time trying to find a choice AU coin, but they always seem to come a little doggy even in AU.
The B-4 is also somewhat tough in high AU grades, especially in the early die stages without obverse die breaks.
The B-1 and the B-2 die marriages are the most commonly found in all grades including AU.
The price guides, especially PCGS, have recently raised the values for these small diameter Capped Bust Quarters in the AU grades. While the price on the coin you are contemplating buying is priced within this new range, I would recommend that you make sure it is a choice coin for the grade and has good eye appeal to make sure you realize maximum value. Of course if the coin is one of the more rare marriages mentioned above, I would even consider buying it in any case.

either buy the outdated Browning book or buy Quarternut's new book...out this month or next.
