Seems there were a number of low feedback bidders biding. Other then that, I have no idea why it bid so high.

I believe the mint charged more for this year's issues, so dealers looked at the current market value of previous years, saw they were bringing less the the Mint was charging, and didn't order as many. In turn, not as many were sent to the services, so less 70s were graded. Those collecting the series have a smaller pool from which to choose.

Yep, and now with the restriction on first strike labels, those that want to keep it going in the registry set will be fighting for a much smaller amount of them and prices are likely to be stupid high on these....

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Seems that a couple of bidders liked the fact it came with the mint packaging. image

So what are the 70 FS Jefferson spouse coins going for now. I need to sell mine soon.

    $502.00 ms70

Better off selling with a bin imho as people still use the ms live cashback.
The proof version sells for more.

Great submission Cassman.......looks like a 70 is a pre-requisite on getting your investment back.
