What should a 2000 W Proof Library of Congress Bimetallic coin cost

Everytime I return home from an Iraq trip and live through it I take my ill gotten gained money and buy something with it I wouldn't normally get. I have it narrowed down to a Canon EOS 40D DSLR or a LOC 2000 W Proof.
I actually want one in original mint packaging but they seem harder to find than graded examples. They seem a little steep on the bay. What should they cost or is the bay cost around $1200 about right?

A PCGS MS69 went for $2200 on Heritage with just 1 bid recently. That seems to have fallen quite a bit. They were routinely going for over $3000 earlier.
