Question regarding shipwreck silver piece

I have a customer who brought in one of those Silver pieces , kind of looks like a pirate silver coin, or one from the spanish galleon shipwrecks. It about the size of a half dollar or so and off square shape. He said it came from one of the Mel Fisher expeditions. He is bugging me to death on trying to locate a value for this coin. Does anybody know about what these are worth? or where to get info? I was figuring about 60-80 bucks ??
