  • The person that builds the web site (web master) controls browser compatibility.

There is no way to make your page look the same on all browsers, each browser has its own interpitation of html.

Sounds like ebay had their pages working with Fire Fox, and FireFox changed something. Web designers hate browser changes.

If you use Zone Alarms for a fire wall or any of the other products, they have known issues with the way they restrict pages from calling other pages.

You can try to run through a proxy server like fiddler 2 to see what is happening.

IS it Fire Fox 2 or 3?

I have both browsers on my home computers, but my laptop only has Firefox (as IE took up too much memory).

Firefox and eBay were compatible before Firefox came out with their latest (3.0) version.

I"m hoping eBay will "see the light" and allow access as Firefox is the better browser IMHO.

But then again, someone here at work tells me eBay is in cahoots with Microsoft...

Keyfixer add-in will solve that problem on the MAC OS

I despise IE, and use FF pretty much exclusively. I loaded 3.0 when it came out, and I have no problems scrolling in 3.0, but did in the previous version.
