Fast food does pay well

... sometimes. My daughter brought this home for me last night!

She was counting her cash drawer at the start of her shift and found it.
Called me and said she found a silver dollar in her cash register and asked if I wanted it. Oh yeah right!
I thought yeah sure, probably some sort of joke. Well she was right ... maybe she does listen to me after all.
BTW this is my 100th post, I will do a give away later. Thanks everyone!

Unfortunately, someone's in trouble for spending it!
HAVE A GOOD ONE ~ DAVID
I was half expecting a Walker until the page loaded!
I'm surprised that one of the cashier's actually took this?
The name is LEE!
Someone at the pharmacy where I work bought a pack of cigarettes with 7 morgan dollars. The cashier kept them, and some of them were nice Uncs!

<< <i>Someone must have had a _Really bad case of the "Munchies" to spend that.
I would guess stolen and put into circulation.
But that is the 2nd story I have heard of an ASE circulating!
Same here. It's cool to see one of those in circulated condition, although I'm not sure how many times it would have changed hands, if at all. My daughter works at a hockey rink, and the only thing she's found is the occasional Canadian Looney. Athough with the exchange rate now, maybe I should have her set those aside!
I like the way that one is toning/wearing. A nice find indeed.

Why not, it's legal tender. At least I think it is.
They are too large to put in the registers so them leave them on the side and
the workers are very happy to get rid of them because they don't fit in the register.
My dad's friend once picked up half of a roll at a 7-Eleven.

Just get her to bring some fries home next time and you'll be all set!

Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.
That is, until she got paid for a cup of coffee with a '16-D dime.
She knew enough to know what she had. End of free coins for me. Beginning of
many years of selling them for her.
One example of her dealings. She put an ad in the local paper offering $1.00 for a 1909-S penny.
She got several and sure enough, one had the VDB on the back!
You could at least buy your daughter a hamburger.
I collect all 20th century series except gold including those series that ended there.

She made a nice profit. Now I hope she'll keep bringing them home.

It is somewhat understandable that older Roosies and Washingtons not to be picked as being of silver content, but when the coin being spent has nice large lettering stating .999 SILVER, well thats almost unbeliveable.
I don't expect the average person to know the spot prices on pms, but it is general knownledge that silver and gold are "valuable".
