1883/72 Mo Mexico Gold Peso

Its got a mintage of 1000, its gold and its a classic and its graded 65 by ICG.

I paid $300 for it recently at Goldberg auction.

What am I missing?

    Heavy die polishing lines are often found on these. However, I have seen a lot of these that were also cleaned, so I guess it depends if the lines are raised image

    I looked at the coin, definitley die polishing.

    Here are a couple others purchased out of a collection from the same auction ( all around the same price, I still cannot believe these are so cheap) with evidence of die polish.

    One thing about die polish over cleaning is the lines appear to go under the areas in relief with die polish. With cleaning you can very often see a small area between the hairlines and the relief that still has luster and no hairlines.
