If you didn't collect coins and have the internet what would you be doing.

I thought this long and hard, before the internet I still collected coins but watched more reruns on VHS while I didn't work, also tuned in to live or went to live sporting events. As for coin collecting did alot of reading about coins and I was a bowler of the PBA, also played alot of golf.

Now it seems I read my local newspaper on the net, check out different sites, do my ebay stuff, and try to make a buck on buying and selling more coins each and everyday.

So what did you do before the net and collecting coins.

Without the internet I'd probably do a lot more fishing.

Before the internet, I did collect a few coins thru a local B&M. But more than that I was a triathlete, golfer, rock climber, audiophile, marathoner, wine collector, mountaineer, woodworker, and dabbled in racing sports cars, and traveled to distant lands. The the internet came allong and I got married. --Jerry

The same thing I did before the internet, and the same thing I do every time I get the chance. Fish:

OC personalities tend toward endurance sports, collecting, drinking/drug abuse, etc. I took a personality test as part of my security clearance 25 years ago and they strongly warned me about my tendency to abuse alcohol and drugs. What they didn't acknowledge is that strong will trumps strong addiction. My dad is the only man I ever knew who could quit smoking at will. Before the dangers of cigarette smoking were known he would smoke in the summertime and quite in the fall when money got tight. (he was a bricklayer in a cold climate). --Jerry
