there is a great deal of excitement, at the time. For weeks I would read about the Buffalo Silver Dollar and now there is almost nothing about them anymore. This seems to be the trend for most new coins. As soon as it loses some popularity another coin will come up over the horizon and evrybody tries to grab one. What did you miss because you were not first in line?

I've missed a bunch since I've only been collecting for about 4 years now.
Due to the popularity of the Buff's though, they still trade for quite a premium over issue price. Not quite true for some of the past and more recent items.
