8 pack of VAMs headed to PCGS **UPDATE grades in first post**
Getting ready to use my "8 free submissions" this week. Should have them out within the next 48 hours.
Group is Hot Lips and Donkey Tail heavy.
Not absolutely positive on the 1887 O VAM-3, I dont have any other VAM-3's to compare it with. Certainly something going on around the 7 in the date.
Might see a body bag or two but have to give it a shot.
Spent the last few weeks shooting photos of all my Morgans so thought I'd post some photos in celebration. The cat hair on the last coin must have drifted onto the coin as I got ready to shoot.

1887 VAM-1A Donkey Tail:

1887 VAM-1A Donkey Tail:

1883 VAM-10 Sextupled Stars:

1884 O VAM-10 O/O Left, Doubled Ear, Far Date:

1887 VAM-1A Donkey Tail

Coin below is same as the coin as the Donkey Tail above. Sellers photos showed the luster of the coin much better than my photos. I botched the rim in a few places with photoshop taking the background out of the sellers original photos.

Updated the photos above since the 87 O 87/86 overdate got bumped for a last minute donkey tail arrival.

As for the grades.
I was pleasantly suprised the most by the most worn looking of the donkey tails grading at AU50. I honestly figured XF45 at best.
I thought the lowest grade Hot Lips was a few points higher but I'm not sweating it
The biggest shocker of all is the 1884 O VAM-10 O/O.... In hand it looked like a absolute knockout. I was thinking at least a solid MS64. Very clean fields and face. Must have had a few breaks in the luster I didnt pay attention to that made is AU.
The rest of the grades were pretty close to spot on what I thought or at least hoped for.
All in all cant complain.

I'll see your bunny with a pancake on his head and raise you a Siamese cat with a miniature pumpkin on his head.
You wouldn't believe how long it took to get him to sit still for this.

Jeez, I thought that was a Nose Hair VAM
<< <i>Good luck, I'm sure even with a couple BBs that you will do just fine return wise. Please post the results when you get them. >>
Will do.
I figure even if half of them slab I'm way ahead on the lot so why not try to see just how many will grade.

Edited to say: I think the first and third Hot Lips will bag. I think the BU-ish D-Tail will bag, and I think the 83P will bag.

I like the XF45 Hot Lips. I've got two in XF45 and won't part with them any time soon.

A Donkey Tail in Mint State is off the chart!!
A Hot Lips in AU55 is a big-time coin!
Two other Donkey Tails in AU is outstanding!
Fantastic results. Congratulations and then some.
I'd be happy with that turnout any day of the year!

That's my order actually. It wasn't an '8 pack' submission...just happened to have 8 coins in it. Rob J. has already snagged the Shifted Eagle from me before I hardly got it unwrapped from PCGS.

Another monster grade on a Donkey Tail. Sighhhh.....
Ca-Ching, Ca-Ching, Ca-ching. Those are the offers rolling in, again nice grades and great eye in picking these up. I know you spend a lot of time and effort on expanding your knowledge of VAMs, congrats.
