1887 O VAM-3?

Looks like there is some extra metal around the 7 in date but doesnt quiet match the pictures of VAM-3 at VAMworld. Could be the crud around the date throwing me off.

    How does it compare with the date and mintmark position on VAM-3 ? And if you have a VAM-3 already, look for markers in the hair and on reverse to match up.

    date position looks good I havent checked MM position yet. Dont think I remember seeing a photo of the MM position on VW. Only have two other 87 O's and neither of them look remotely close to VAM-3. So nothing to compare with.
