Anaconda Website

Hello;

just went to anaconda's website and there are no coins. it indicates that heritage will
be auctioning off thier inventory. is this a normal thing for anaconda??
or is something going on?? just curious. do dealers just sell off inventory at
times through auction houses..

thanks

Guess you missed all the hoopla,

Owner of Anaconda is moving to the tropics and auctioning off the coins and the Anaconda name.

Anaconda is being sold and their current inventory will indeed be sold by Heritage.

There is a large thread about that around here somewhere, but can't find it now. If you do a search on Anaconda I'm sure you will find it.

Anaconda is going out of business? When did this happen?

All the inventory was already in Heritage's Virtual browse... Now it's Actual! image

Anyone know what the deal is with the photo contest?

It was a 1892 PR64RB IHC in a rattler, and it was a beatch to photograph.

Hope it's still on, spent hours trying to capture it.

I heard that two Costa Rican sisters bought Anaconda and dumped the coins and Brandon. Or something like that. image

I recall as per Brandon on the forum... he personally owns this coin, and the contest is still going on.

    <<It's still on.>>

I assume he will generate a thread regarding it, or e-mail me.

Now that I think about it, who would want a Anaconda jersey, if he's out of the hobby?

    I'll take it, but ..........

<<Where would you wear it anyway>>

My point exactly, what am I going to do with it?

I don't think I have a shot at winning anyhow.

Some of the CU members on that list are great photographers.

I'm on the road for work for the next week so I do not have the photos I took of Brandon's coin with me. However, the 1892 NGC65BN tonight on Teletrade certainly reminds me of his coin. Granted it's a Teletrade photo, and I'm shooting from memory.

That's too nice a shirt to give to my painter or my mechanic.
