Two New Cents -

I needed this copper/nickel indian for my 7070 album. I liked the look of it. I bought it as AU, it does have some spots on the reverse, but I think it's just crud. I know next to nothing about indian cents or copper coins in general. What do you think?

And I got this just for fun to put in the modern Lincoln slot.

What color is the 1863 in hand? The pic makes it look too grey to be natural.

Looks natural to me. These are Cu-Ni, remember.

Very nice cents, (I actually like that IHC, but both are sweet!) The color on both is impressive IMHO.

It is a little greyer in the picture than in hand. I shot the photo in natural overcast light, so it might be a little overexposed. But it is the copper/nickel cent and they are a little off color because of the nickel content.

Both are great album coins, which spots are you refering to? I see some carbon spots which will not come off no matter how hard you scrub with the brillo pad
