the reason the 07 set did not sell is because nobody wants the 05 and 06 sets.
The 2007 Legacy Set, issued at $135, is already bringing $175 to $200 at auction. It may go higher if the final mintage turns out to be less than 28,000. A major reason for the low mintage is that they were on sale for only a few months.
To me, the Legacy sets are way more attractive than the somewhat similar Prestige sets of the 1980s and 1990s.
I had thought that luster breaks, or spots, were the main reason for blocking a "70", but especially at PCGS as evidently NGC does not follow that guideline. Just what is a 70 at NGC?
Love that Milled British (1830-1960) Well, just Love coins, period.

"Luster Breaks"....great name when describing those shiny tiny sparlies/sprites on BU silver coinage.

I agree. The 2007 is larger than the 2005 and 2006. It's a very nice set and is the sleeper/key of the series.
The one I bought in NGC 70 for $54.00 shipped soon after they came out has already been sold for $86.95 + shipping. So I would say that they are slowly climbing. I havent looked at the PCGS prices lately though.
I'll see your bunny with a pancake on his head and raise you a Siamese cat with a miniature pumpkin on his head.
You wouldn't believe how long it took to get him to sit still for this.

Another way to read that is that it depicts, by implication, American arms protecting American civilians from a presumably racist, American civilian mob.

And past year's Legacy sets are pieces of junk.
