OT: Post where you're from

I think this has been done b4, but there are some new members lately and I think it would be fun to see where everyone lives and anything else you all would like to add about yourself.....
I'll start:
Chatfield, MN
Grew up on a large family farm...served in the marines for six years and settled down back in good 'ol SE Minnesota.
I collect mostly vintage baseball....focusing on '50s and '60s Yankees
Love the Twins, Yankees and a die hard Viking fan.
I'd like to see where you all are from......

Semper Fi,
Dan

Born in Kissimmee, FL, moved to Cincinnati, OH for a couple of years as a small child, but made it back to Kissimmee/St. Cloud by age three.

Moved to Rome, GA for high school, then college near Savannah, GA.

After college, ended up in Atlanta for less than a year and now I finally reside in Houston, TX and have been here for nearly a year (and still haven't moved my collection westward).

I'm 24. I have continuously collected my childhood hero Frank Thomas since the age of 7. My Thomas collection is mainly focused on issues from '97 and before, but I don't snub my nose at more recent issues. For '08, I've started collecting Bob Clemente. Other than that, I began building a few modern sets again in '07, after a college hiatus, and dabble in vintage as it floats my boat.

I'd like to start a substantial vintage project, but, as of yet, I haven't decided on what.
Collector of most things Frank Thomas. www.BigHurtHOF.com

I like to collect Brooklyn Dodger and St. Louis Cardinal cards and memorabilia, as well as HOF rookies, multi-player cards, and anything else that strikes me as interesting. And Allen & Ginters (the modern cards, not the original as I can't afford them).

I agree, they seemed to lose the momentum when they moved from Jarry Park to the Big O after the Olympics in 1976
Jarry Park was fun, the stands always looked full,

Where in NY are you from? Champlain?
I also have many relatives living in Burlington Vermont, as well

I am from a very little town called Brushton, NY...it's near Malone if you have ever heard of it. The other side of that is the Awkesawsne Indian Reservation. Not too far from Champlain but a whole different road going to Montreal.
