Okay, which one of you nailed this bad boy?

Whomever did, got a screaming bargain. I have the other 67DCAM from the same submission. The coin fund is at a low ebb right now, so I couldn't chase this one.

Both coins were originally sold by Morris on eBay a few years ago, both coins then made a trip through Heritage, and then Teletrade. I grabbed mine on TT.

Congrats, Ty! Your hoard is fattening up quite nicely!

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Kind of but a little more straight
<< <i>I was underbidder, just couldn't see pulling the trigger for more then $600 plus juice. >>
You missed a great coin at a bargain price. A non-Birthmark Die in this grade would bring more on eBay.

"Is teletrade like ebay?"

Yeah, it's eBay with a buyer's premium, clear pictures,
and no scumbags!!

<< <i>One guy could submit it and have it called the "birthmark die" variety, another could send it in and have it not grade cam because of a break in the frost. >>
Huh I thought it was a exit wound variety

teletrade has been coaxing out some interesting material the last couple of weeks
<< <i>Russ: I know you have been trying to get the birthmark listed as a variety. Any luck or update as to how that is going? >>
Nothing but brick walls.

<< <i>There is a spot on JFK's temple that isn't frosted. That is the mark of a particular die. I guess Russ and others call it the birthmark die. Anyway that die makes it more valuable to anybody who cares.... >>
Interesting factoid.
