Should've paid PSA 4 money for it. There's a significant crease on the fron and back that runs horizontally across the middle. Easily seen in the scans, especially on the back and the front left.
  • Oh well....all I really care about is the centering and eye appeal. I didn't even notice the crease, and since I will be putting it in a 1" screwdown and will be looking at it from 2-3 feet away once it's on my display shelf, the crease doesn't really detract from the eye appeal.

Anyway, since he listed the item as being NrMt, I'll have grounds to ask for a refund if I want to.....

In that case, I guess it's alright. I was under the impression you were expecting to submit it and pull a PSA 7... If that were the case, I just figured it a risky proposition. Good luck. It does have tremendous "eye appeal."

Save the scans from the auction in case they disappear and he says it wasn't there. He probably didn't look close since the front looks so nice.

Let's call it exhibit A when it comes to why someone would buy graded over raw. If in fact there is a crease, which does appear correct, no one could be happy to pay that money for it right?

That 55 Ed Brown you purchased is a sweet card. Congrads on both pick ups.
