It's a shame because he spent alot of time and money to list all those cards(check other items) and he most likely won't sell any.
Gotta love his shipping policy too.

What's the problem? If he wishes to limit his potential buyers via a restrictive payment policy, that is his choice. We, as buyers, may exercise our choice to pass on bidding. But I don't see any issue with the auction and disagree that eBay should "kill" his auctions or that auctions such as his are wrong.

Yup, there's no evidence that he's dishonest, he's just a poor businessman.
He also apparently includes free energy drink with his shipments.

Frankly I understand why some sellers do not accept Paypal... and I can only assume these sellers know many potential buyers will not bid accordingly.
I have a whole list of reasons I will not bid on certain auctions and this is at the very top of it. In the past year, I have bid on maybe 3 items that did not accept Paypal, each because the items were very rarely offered on eBay and I was willing to assume the inconvenience and risk associated with other forms of payment accordingly.

Also, gotta love the "I leave feedback when feedback is left". Thats a neg waiting to happen

I agree snorto. Besides being a bad business man (which is the reason I linked his auction) having the paypal logo displayed and then not accepting it even though his description reads as such is misleading to a novice ebayer.

The guy is a bum. He is dishonest when he claims to accept PayPal, and does not accept PayPal.
ALL of his listings are in gross violation of EBAY TOS.
EBAY forces people like the seller to accept PayPal because they KNOW that buyers are being scammed
by sellers who fall into his "profile."
He is deceiving people into thinking he takes PayPal. The first experienced buyer who tries to pay with
PayPal, will get the seller NARUd.
He is gaming Best-Match search results by falsely claiming he will accept PayPal.
Accepting PP is worth at leat 6-points in the search algo. NOT accepting PP is a
minus of at least 7-points.
Buyers have fled EBAY in droves. THAT is why EBAY is now punishing ALL sellers;
if they would concentrate on dumping the bums, the good sellers would be much
better off.
Honest sellers pay the price for the subject seller's scofflaw actions.

The sellers is REQUIRED by EBAY to accept PayPal, because of his stats.
IF he does not check the PP box in his SYIF, his listings will be rejected.
Sellers who scam EBAY will scam buyers, too.
Furthermore, I pay thousands of dollars in fees AND am forced to compete
with search-gamers for position on the pages. TOTALLY unacceptable.

NO site has come close to reaching the critical mass required to attract enough
buyers/sellers to come EVEN CLOSE to the number of eyeballs that even the now
broken EBAY delivers.
People are wasting their time when the spend hours listing on ghost-towns,
just because the listings are "free." They're not "free;" they STEAL your time.
ioffer and ecrater are still trying, BUT it would take MANY years for them to
catch EBAY.
The Current Numbers
EBAY is all there is, unless you want to spend ALL of your time setting-up and running
your own site.

I've had quite a bit of success consigning items to major auction houses (will have 5-10 items in the next Memory Lane auction), have sold a handful of items here on these boards, and have also set up at local shows before.
Ebay is by far the best way to get rid of stuff if you need $$$ quickly, but given that between listing fees, final value fees, and PayPal they end up with roughly 8% of each transaction, they are not always the best way to maximize profits.

I share these feelings, and I do not see myself listing anything else on Ebay. I will sell at card shows, and buy some from Ebay.
Selling on Ebay is something I have decided to boycott until they make some better efforts to improve things for sellers. I know I may be just one person, but if enough of us stick together, it will make a difference in the end.

Are you serious? He's not devious, he's just a dope. Only a dope would put so many restrictions on his buyers: no paypal, no checks, no international sales, no combined shipping, blah, blah. If this sort of seller is a threat to you, you really ought to find something else to do.
Buyers are fleeing eBay in droves? Hmm, well, their profits continue to rise sharply, so they must be doing something right. If your sales are off, I'd say that it's because eBay is changing their pricing structures and focusing on bigger players and bigger sales. It's not the dumb little seller who's hurting you; the dumb little seller has always been around. Look up for your competition, not down.

He is circumventing EBAY's TOS. That is "devious."
Bad sellers hurt ALL good sellers; large or small.
The supply of buyers is finite. MANY have left and will NEVER return.
Those who leave are chased-off one at a time; by bad sellers, who
refuse to follow the rules that good sellers comply with.
I have seen many buyers and sellers, both good and bad. Many have knowingly broken the rules and have still been very successful. Others have played by the rules and done poorly. I don't feel that others breaking the rules or working to circumvent them will hurt my auctions. And I'm not going to cry a river every time I see something that I disagree with. I know that there's little I can do to change it and to get all up in arms about it serves little purpose other than raising my blood pressure.
I honestly believe that if I offer a solid product, accurately described with clean, sharp, high resolution images and answer questions in a timely manner, that I have no reason to worry about anyone else. I have found over the past 10 years that when I sell on eBay, I tend to get either the highest price for my item compared to equal items that I am competing against. Why? Because I don't inundate prospective buyers with a myriad of exceptions and exclusions. Everything that I offer and expect are laid out clearly and concisely in my auction.
If I didn't see the regular success over the long haul (I'm not a Power Seller or a person with 100+ auctions going weekly), I'd question whether I'm doing the right thing, but regardless, I can't see how I could claim that the cheating of others would hurt me.
I also don't see how some claim that eBay buyers are running off in droves... Where are they going? Has anyone considered that the economy may be a large contributing factor with many buyers reducing their buying habits as the result of having significantly less disposable income?
My rant is over . . .
The seller is not required to pay the buyers fees for money orders or other types of payments that might inccur a fee.
So why should they be responsible for any other payment fees.

Buyers - end-users - of all goods and services pay ALL the costs of the seller
doing business. ALL such costs are supposed to be more than recovered in
the final retail-invoice price.
Sellers can always raise their prices, if they need/want more money to cover
the costs associated with selling.
