Yeah, he who hesitates, often loses. Been there, done that, a few times myself, unfortunately. image

Am I totally forgetting that you had an awesome gold collection that you no longer wanted and sold off recently?

Actually, I sold down to twenty coins in the fall and then to eighteen this year, and now my Box of 20 has some empty slots, one of which is reserved for a Fat Head $5 (and the other for an 1861-D $1).

The one at CRO is a small diameter piece. I have my heart set on large diameter.

    Trade a car for it.

I don't have any cars that will cover it. image

Yep, that's on my short list too. Only difference is it will be about 10-15 years before I can justify it. I just hope prices don't double in that time.

Wish you would have said this earlier Stefanie.
My wife and I just contracted for a whole kitchen remodel. Then if that wasn't enough, while we were at the stone yard picking out stone, my wife talked me into a marble master bath makeover, as well as new marble fireplace surroundsimage

That reminds me of a time machine - imagine working in a bank in that era and tossing these around the vault. It screams mint bloom.
