I did ok at Heritage last night!

Picked up some halfpennies at reasonable prices. Both are PCGS 64, I was a little surprised as the prices were not nearly so high as Goldbergs. Even though these are not prime examples they aren't that bad. The P1234 proof 1799 only went for $280.

1773 - very weak strike or worn dies most noticeable on the reverse

Very good deal on the 1799. I seriously contemplated on bidding on that one myself. I listened in on the auction at times via live hook-up and gave it up after midnight, they were still going at it. Nice and interesting Coin!

I wound up connected to the auction until about 1:30 AM central time, I guess thats why some of these lots went so reasonably, people on the east coast must have been sound asleep.
