Uploading Images

Please help out a relative newbie here. There are some awesome pictures uploaded to many of your posts.

How do you get an image into a post? I can't seem to figure this out.

Click on the image box and paste the direct link from say Photobucket

The image box is the one above the reply window that looks like a picture frame with a mountain in it.

Sign up at www.photobucket.com . Upload your pictures there. If you just copy the fourth link down "IMG CODE" you can post it directly into your post without clicking the picture button.

There are other sites in addition to photobucket, your software usually has a link from the whatever program you are using for photo images. Transfer the photos to that online program and you can carry over from there.

Also photos that are on line place your cursor over the photo and click properties. The screen that comes up will have an address to copy the image. Just highlight this address with your cursor and click copy. Next when you are on this website and you are posting a reply or starting a thread, click on the image icon that appears under Message Text:. A popup will appear at the top of the screen and ask you to allow temporay permission, click on allow, go back to the image icon click again, now a screen pops up with a field, using this field place your cusor over and click on paste. Click okay and a code will appear on your screen representing the image. To check to see that this has worked click on preview and your post should show the image you have added.
