    I don't think i've ever seen a toned St. Gaudens, or any gold coin for that matter. Very cool!

    I've never seen a toned saint before.

    Having said that, I think I like toning on silver coins a lot more than gold.

    Not that the toning is unattractive, it just looks nicer without it.

    I think that is the coin "uofa1285" tried to sell for $5k. If the OP's image is accurate, then uofa's image must have been juiced pretty good.
