Is anyone thinking of changing careers and applying for that Managing Director job at Heritage in NY

I was taking a look at the recent issue of Coin World yesterday. In it was an advertisement by Heritage for a newly created position, located in New York City. It is for a managing director job, and it looks like it is a pretty senior position in their organization. Heritage seems to be expanding into NYC and is looking for a strong person to help grow the business.

Is anyone here thinking of making a career change and applying for the position at Heritage? I think the NY market is tough, particularly with the large auction houses located there. It looks like Heritage is expanding all of its auction lines into NYC, and not just coins. Are there any takers?

As much as I'd like to consider a career change into the coin business, all the jobs are in the big cities, so I'll pass.
  • Sorry...I wouldn't work in NYC...
