Come share your online losses

Since we have the Mail Call thread, I'm curious how a thread dedicated to losses may go over.

Here's tonight's loss for yours truly:

Auction: Ebay 250210532557
Item: 1969 WORLD SERIES GAME 2 TICKET STUB
Winning Bid: $82.16

Considering that Jerry Koosman went 8.2 IP in a win, I had plans to send it to Jerry TTM to get signed.

Oh well. I made up for it with a few 1959 Topps FB singles to try to get signed TTM.

    I don't lose.

In fact, did I win yet?

I pushed all in with pocket jacks but the other guy had queens.

Understood. I thought maybe he had physically lost the card.

Had my sights on a gorgeous 54 Bowman Eddie Mathews PSA 6, perfectly centered, and came up $10 short because I'm an idiot.

To many to count as of late... vintage football is as strong as it has been for the last year. Barely a day goes by that I am reminded I am but a small football fishy in a big registry pond.

I was the underbidder for a 57 Duke Snider last Saturday. I can't beat out the likes of The Duke of Mint. Guess I'll have to wait another two years before another one surfaces.
