Looks like a problem coin to boot. Too much cleaning.

    Already 6 bids.

    Man, what a total crook...

I notice he sells drive shafts too:

He'll be shafting whoever is dumb enough to buy that 'certified' Bust half.

Obviously misgraded third world slab with a unpleasant looking coin. Let the buyer beware. Buy the coin not the slab.

I love the auction title: "1824 P GEM SILVER CAP BUST HALF DOLLAR MS BU UNC"

But he calls it an AU50 in the text, just like the slab says.

    It's a horrible coin. image

At least the coin brought under $50 on ebay. Looks like people generally paid attention to the poor quality of the coin.

it would probably cross to other 3rd world holders though.
    ;-)
  • Ok, I just noticed something. Go look at that auction again, at the sellers info. How is this possible?

    Seller: leobrawner( 1742)
    Feedback: 96.4 % Positive

He is a powerseller with 96.4?

What are you all complaining about. That
coin was graded by the US Coast Guard.

Now if is was graded by the US Marine Corp
USMC, then it would be a BB for sure. In fact,
it probably would be used on the gunnery
range, for a long distance target.
