Ebay auction with inferior Slab Company Is this allowed?

Ebay auction 150248800541 how in the world can this guy think he will sell this coin for that price. Secondly I may wrong like I have before, but that's why I am asking you vets out there. I thought ebay didn't allow inferior grading slab companies on ebay no more.

I see he/she does'nt mention the company who slabbed the coin but he did mention the grade of perfect 70. Lastly if this is a members coin on here I didn't mean to step on your feet. I just was wondering ebay rules thats all. Opinions please.image

No, calling it "certified" and listing the numerical grade should get it nuked.

if it gets reported and enough time remains on the auction, it gets booted

I agree, but it has to be reported to get nuked. Anyone who would pay that price for that auction probably deserves what they get though image

PCI was considered to be included and at the last minute deleted, since the company is now a part of David Lawrence, I would wonder if at some point ebay will start allowing DGS slabs to be ? time will tell

for those who dont know PCI is now called DGS

Note the slab isn't mentioned in the heading (although the grade is) and it's not listed as certified, it just says "see description". It does not say "graded" anywhere. It just mentions the "grader". What does DGS stand for, and will they reholder PCI coins at some special price?

Some rat recently reported my auction which was in a PCI slab. It got nuked by EBAY. I did not even mention the name of the slabbing company or the grade in the title. Guess some people are born to be squeelers.

Some of the ebay "trust and safety" people consider the photo to be part of the description, making
it impossible to sell PCI or SEGS coins on ebay. I guess fake raw coins and fake coins in fake PCGS, NGC and ANACS slabs are OK. I have had some the fine PCGS board members send me PMs telling me that they will destroy me if I continued to sell raw coins or "non approved" slabs and"whine" about ebay policy.

    It seems to have disappeared.

I had eBay nuke 9 of my PCGS auctions because I used the Auctiva Template and forgot to add in the serial number. The picture showed it quite well... Oh well.

    Taverntreasures- I agree with you!!

There are some nice coins in PCI holders. I am not a fan of the new system although some of the certification companies were blantanly bad. I bought a 1900 proof V-nickel in a NNC pf 67 holder on ebay 4 or 5 months ago, knowing there was no way it would grade that high. I was not expecting a proof better than a 62 with possible problems. Upon recieving the coin i was surprised it was as nice as it was. I sent it to NGC and it came back a PF64
    Mark
    NGC registry V-Nickel proof #6!!!!
working on proof shield nickels # 8 with a bullet!!!!

It was relisted a second time after that without the PCI reference and was nuked on the 7th day into the auction.
