  Crusty is a kind word for that coin lol. I like the original look very much it has a certain appeal in my opinion.

  It's funny, the more I become a fan of nice colorful toning, even the ugly stuff begins to appeal to me. It was not more than a few years ago I would have passed on this coin. Now I think it looks great, very original and unique.
  
  Edited to add, It was $8 from a bargain bin at a shop way over on the east side of town I had never visited before. I really liked it for 8 bucks.
