Are Missing Clad layer Quarters for 1983 very Common??
I was watching this particular 1983 Quarer and was quite shocked to see it close for so little.
Are these fairly common for this year like the off center coins or did someone get a super rip here?

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

from both mints dated 1983. (especially Philly)
There wouldn't be much if any premium because of the date for this
reason alone probably. There aren't a lot of collectors working on
sets by date anyway and this type of error is removed regardless
of date.
That doesn't look extremely cheap for a circulated missing clad layer
eagle reverse quarter but I believe it is on the low side.

<< <i>Cladking, I must say that I am impressed with your knowledge. You seem to really know your stuff in the error department. Where do you get the KNOWLEDGE? -Dan >>
My knowledge of errors is truly deficient compared to the experts here. I do
have some experience with clad quarter errors but even here, it's not extensive.
I have much more experience with varieties.
Mostly it's just from looking at the coins and reading the articles.
