2000 Library of Congress Proof Bimetallic good buy now?
I see that the LOC Bi-metallic proofs in OGP are going for around $925 on fleabay. If they have approx. .25 oz of gold and same for plat. that's not too much over approx. spot ($750). They are great looking coins.
Do you all think that the proofs will do well in the long term or that they are mostly related to spot?
The Uncs. still seem high. Wonder if they'll come down at all.
Thanks for any insight!

There are substantially more PROOFs than UNCs. The PROOF is probably just a matter of bullion and beauty (yeah, I really think they are beautiful, and for the time being unique in the US Coin series). The UNC is a fairly low mintage coin and deserves to be priced substantially higher than the PROOF, I believe it should be higher than it is, but that's just my opinion.
oh yea. melt.
so that is what you should be looking to score one at.
If it's one you like, get it. I think it'll at least hold it's value.
