Game Time!! Remember Mattel Electronics Football 2...1978...

I am getting rid of all of the stuff I don't need....even though sometimes I think I still need it...
It's a little dusty, but it works fine. I even have a wall adapter on for it (with about a 15' cord!)...it will go to my eBay store tomorrow evening, but I thought I would throw it out here first. $20 delivered....

PM me if interested...
Thanks,

Dang, does that bring back memories. I was glued to one of those things for what may have been the better part of a year.

<< <i>Thank God I'm not the only one old enough to have owned these games. I still have the baseball that I've had for around 25 or more years. I bought the original football game at a local garage sale about 4 years ago. >>
My first thought too
I used to play the crap out of that game. Im sure my parents hated that as much as parents nowadays hate kids texting or listening to ipods.
Great photo samspop, thank you for that!!

Do you have the original box that it came in?
If so - what does it look like?

I in fact had one with the Atari adapter all in original boxes but sold that around 12 years ago.

<< <i>The Best game HANDS DOWN was Nintendo Ice Hockey IMO!!! Any of you remember? The real big guys and their powerful slapshots, pummelling the skinny guys LOL!!
Loooooved that game Pauly!!! Great post!!
This thread is like a trip down memory lane man, love it. I had to show my wife the pictures.
<< <i>Mike...no box, just the game. There are a few on eBay in the orginal box running for about $90....that's why I figured @ $20 shipped to you was pretty fair....I think you need this!! >>
Thanx Mike.
But, I'm not ready to go to the 70s yet - I'm budgeted for games in the 50s and earlier right now - and there's so many!

Personally, this was one of my two favorite electronic baseball games...(one on the right)
...and this was the one that I 'upgraded' from...
....I used to keep score (like the 'real' keeping score) and set lineups and use the baseball cards to envision the players at bat. Sheesh...great memories!

Anybody remember the Speak & Spell?
<< <i>Arny, those head to head games kept me busy for hours. The worst was when the battery ran out and I had to get my mom to take me to the store to get a new 9 volt.

Hey I have one of those as well. I'd take a picture of it but since I cleaned up the room I can't remember where I put it.

<< <i>Anyone ever play the mini video games?
I bought the Donkey Kong version of that off Ebay a year or so ago for cheap worked great, played it for a few months and sold it for a few dollars more than I paid for it. I believe there are one or two of those Coleco tabletops that are hard to come by.
Edited: Found it.
