It is always a question of knowing and seeing, and not that of believing.
Our virtues, and our failings are inseparable, like force, and matter. When they separate, man is no more.

<< <i>define error, double die, doubled die, rpm, rpd, clip, planchet flaw, cud, struck thru, die damage?? >>
Mainly looking for variates, and low mintage coins with higher values. The 2001 silver proof set did well...

The name is LEE!
1995-W American Silver Eagle
1995-W American Silver Eagle is the key date for the series. This coin had a mintage of only 30,195 and is the most notable modern key date coin. The low mintage was due to the fact that the coin was only issued as part of the expensive 1995 Gold Eagle Proof Set. Silver Eagles are one of the most popular modern series, making these coins very desirable.

I thought this was a list of error coins?
Unlike the MN quarters, that are actually just nothing more than commonly explained doubled die, the WI extra leaf quarters have a real whodunnit story behind it. It has now been proven that someone at the Mint made these varieties on purpose by striking the softened dies with a hammer and a curved tool! How cool is that!
Each one seems to be a one die variety with a mintage less than 100,000 each.
The 1956 - 1964 circulation strike B's seem to be catching on in popularity at the moment.
It seems to be imposssible to buy any of the clad ones.
For all I know it might be equally tough to sell one since they are so little known.
These don't appear in the regular mint sets so choice examples are quite tough. They seem to account for around 3% of production and souvenir set examples. Souvenir set coins are just regular issue so choice examples are little more likely (if at all) in them.
Then there is the scarcer 1972 P type 2 reverse that matches the artwork seen on the 1971 S proof and all 1972 S specimens.
I was a Monkey
Box of 20
Proof: Mintages 2,632,810
A typical example of a modern mint error, with values close to $1000.00 in PR 64, and also a slight premium for cameo examples.
Wile the 1968 No S Dime has reached premiums up to $1500.00 in PR 64 and above.
