More Credit Card Fraud From Phoenix

nencoinnencoin Posts: 1,319 ✭✭✭✭
Attention Dealers. We've received our fourth fraudulent order from the Phoenix area in the last few months. Dumb criminals ordering gold coins with a credit card (that doesn't belong to them), wanting shipment by FedEx to a hotel by the Phoenix Airport. The latest guy calls himself WL Gore and is requesting shipping to the Hampton Inn by the airport. Just a heads up for you online dealers.

sorry to hear he is up to his old scam, right here in my area. FYI, WL Gore is a pretty decent sized company, with a large operation in Flagstaff, which is where he probably stole the name from.

Jeez, this idiot can't even come up with his own alias...needs to swipe one from a company. He actually just called me, wanted to change the shipping address (I'm playing along with him, making him think I'm shipping the coin). His new ship address is a hotel in Tempe. Guess I'm going to have a little fun with him, just to get his heart racing a bit.

Thanks for letting us know! Wow, he even used another business's name! What a dumb scammer. A fraudulent credit card payment, a hotel address, and then this. It all adds up to a scam.

I've had fake Western Union money orders from this area too.
