I bought mine for $1,490,00 each when they were first released. Paid $1,390.00 for the 2006's.
According to the latest NN reported sales are at:

(including 2,672 4-coin sets)
Whelp, with the 2007 W Unc brought back on the day they release the New *suprise design* 2008 W Plat Proofs is certainty to declare the folks at the mint have no clue how to run a business.
