It's been a while since I've bought one but I'm guessing they haven't moved too much.
I'd guess around $3.00-$4.00
As a rule of thumb to guess a dealer buy value for raw, modern US coins: I go to ebay and see what it brings, halve that and take the greater between the result and face.
I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector. Recipient of the coveted "You Suck" award, April 2009 for cherrypicking a 1833 CBHD LM-5, and April 2022 for a 1835 LM-12, and again in Aug 2012 for picking off a 1952 FS-902.
Assuming it it truly unsearched (the op never mentioned this), for the $$ you'd get for it, I'd open it up. Maybe, just maybe, you'll hit a full stepper (well, ya never know!). If you sell the roll, and find out later there was a 63FS or 64FS, you will want to hang yourself.
Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set: 1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S. Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!
