    It looks like the A and M in America are separated, therefore it is a small Letter.

    This variety is easy enough to distinguish (even *I* can do it, haha).

    A and M in AMERICA separated = Small Letters

    A and M in AMERICA joined at base = Large Letters

    (MAD = Mis- Aligned Dies, for those who were stumped by the previous post. It took me a second. I usually say "rotated dies".)
