I do not see 65 luster in the photo, and the coin is a bit marky for the 65 grade.

MS63. I don't see where, and gold always has better luster then this pic. Plus, luster has nothing to to with the grade, but the absence thereof.

Definitely not a 65 - maybe a low MS (although some of the lettering looks a bit fake to me!)

Too many hits for 65- maybe 61-62 in my opinion.

I think this one needs to be seen in hand to get it right...

I'm certain the color of your photo is off from reality.

The coin looks pretty decent, but nothing more than a 63. (62 is my guess)

62

AU58.

Too many marks on the obverse to be a 65. I would say 63 tops.

Placid · March 29, 2008 5:44AM

Au 58
Looks like some slight wear on the hair below the E obverse and on the wing tips on the reverse.
Might just be a weak strike.

I actually own two 1900 $5.00 - a PCGS62 and an NGC63. By comparison, I would say your coin looks 63, shot at 64 depending on what it does in hand.

Maybe AU58-MS62 tops... your color is off, the lighting has washed out any luster, and the Obverse looks like it was photographed at an angle?
