    I hate to say it this way, but anyone who bids on a coin from China deserves what they get at this point. I know there are new collectors out there and I hate to see people get burned....but why would anybody buy an American coin from China? No matter how inexperienced you are that should set off some serious warning bells.
    Positive BST transactions with: too many names to list! 36 at last count.

    the color of the metal is simply all wrong.
    the T in trust is very weak to missing.
    the M in unum looks very strange to me.

    what other signs of it being a fake are easy to spot?

    That is funny! But unfortunately the coin says "In God We Trus." They should switch Ts image

    I'm inclined to agree. However, I would note that I've bought a couple coins from sellers in China. Excellent fakes.

    09-S and 09-S VDB cents have been counterfeited for decades.
