I've heard this description used before and I'd like to see some.image

    While I have some very nice coins I don't think any would be in your face.

    To me in your face is if someone brags about a nice coin they got for X amount of money, someone could show a nicer one that cost half of X. To me that is in your face. image

    Interesting, and makes sense. I guess my idea of an "in your face" coin was a coin that would, in the one's opinion, blow away any other of its' kind in terms of the *WOW* factor.

    I don't have any Susan B. Anthony dollars, but every time I see one, it reminds me of the Popeye cartoon where Popeye is in Brutus' face and getting ready to kick his a$$.

    I guess I should clarify and also add, post a coin that is an "in your face coin" based on your definition of one.image

    I was told by Broadstruck that this photo was "too in your face".
    And I would have to agree with him.
    I wouldn't call the coin an in your face one.
    There was no bragging so it's not in your face that way either.

    I think to me an in your face coin would be like some of those crazy toned ASE's that you see here sometimes.
    Looks like they were blasted with a paintball gun.

    Not a rare date, not worth a million bucks, but this is the nicest "looking" coin I own. I don't even collect these, but when I saw it in a dealer's showcase I simply HAD to have it!

    I don't like the term "in-your-face" as I believe that it could have negative connotations. I know what you mean though. I'd perfer to use the term Wowzer...

    I agree that I dislike the term, "In your face", and prefer the Wowser! or Moose! term. As far as a coin that is superior to the norm here's one:

    I'd say this is pretty "in your face". From NCS 'improperly cleaned' Proof, and then some work by a doc, and *Presto*! PCGS PF63 !
