Man, I wish. I just about pulled the trigger when it was $180/oz as I had done some research on it and it seemed like it would only go up due to supply and demand. Too bad there are more coin options available.

Just bought two ounces from APMEX last week. They're pretty ugly! They don't have the shine of gold, plat or silver. I'll be keeping them for a long time as bullion

Never bought any in bars, In the jewelry business they used it for a while to make findings......sucked..........In alot of places in Europe they use it to alloy gold to make it white, works and looks good, while here in the US we use Nickel.........

PD is a riot. I bought bars from Apmex and also have 2 of the USSR Ballerina coins.

I thought PD was just kinda used in convertors behind PT.

Found out all sorts of the opposite.

Palladium is widely used in the catalyst industry.

Recession will definitely have an impact on the price of this metal and I fear for the worst.
You can tell me how stupid I am after the price doubles.

I have some Russian palladium coins and seom Stillwater goins. It looks like it looses it's shine fairly easy as the Stillwater stuff is ok but the uncirculated Russian stuff is fairly dull. I think it would be a okay alternative to the platinum coins but there would be a brillance loss. I got these around $200 per oz but haven't picked up any since.

Also dentistry , electronics, fuel cells, just about anything that requires Hydrogen storage as palladium can hold many times its weight in hydrogen , also heard a rumor about its use in some new flat panel TV screen .
    Buy the dips!!!

Bought two one ounce bars about two years ago for $325 each. At the time I thought about buying one rhodium bar for about $650. The rest is history.

If you want to know about your favorite metal from mining, opinions, technical reports etc.
    the www.mineweb.com is it!

Here's the latest news article listed for PD and it is very good!

    Link For PD Specific Article.

You'll be able to get to the homepage from there also.

I'm trying to re-locate a special report put out by JM Metals that gives PD a very glowing report.

It might be a little late in the game for a 1 ozer rhodium, but who sells them, just out of curiosity?

I grabbed some Maples from Tulving at $200 and a few NGC Graded 69 Maples from ebay (which sometimes hold less of a premium).
They look better in the slabs as the plastic they come in further dulls the surfaces. And they are difficult to photograph - just check out the very poor represenatations on ebay.
I purchased them for the novelty of the Palladium as they are not minted by anyone other than the Canadians - so that's why the Looney is above par?
I haven't seen the Russian version though.
Get em where they are cheapest - typically near or just above spot.

There are quite a few world Pal coins. Think I posted this link a few years ago, but some neat coins:
