Pcgs Forum Member to sue for 20 million dollars for Coin Addiction.

Hi guys I think I will sue everyone that I have bought a coin from or who has given me a coin for the years I have been a collector.

I think 20 million dollars is a good place to start. The Coin hobby is a addiction worse than crack, you keep buying and buying, after your coins go up in value, you sell, then you buy more.

Then one day you are counting your coins in your collection you haven't ate, you smell like $hit and your dog won't come near you and your wife says to you, honey why did the lights get cut off, why did my car get towed, why, why, why, I tell her, I am a Coin addict since first time I found a penny that had letters missing at the top of the coin, I got hooked my love, she packs up her suitcase and tells me I told you this $hit is stupid and now all I have is my empty dansco's, and a few rolls of vg pennies.

Here is the reason I thought to do this please read below.

A lawyer from New York is suing Alantic City Nj and Las Vegas casinos for 20 million dollars after losing over 1 million dollars since 2003 because no one stop her and she didn't leave the tables for 4/5 days in a row, she didn't eat she brushed her teeth with wet wipes and she stated she lost everything.

So why can't I sue the Coin world for handing me that first lincoln error penny.

Everything in this statement is subject to finding legal consel and all rights are protected by the Indian Reservation I belong to.

All kidding aside do you beleive people, sitting at a f=ing blackjack table, making $500,00k a year as a esquire of her firm with 400 employees and gets hooked on gambling then wants her money back.

Of course can someone find the linky for me and post it.

Should I sue and just shut up and take it like a man?image

Now she's chasing the longest of long shots: a $20 million racketeering lawsuit in federal court against six Atlantic City casinos and one in Las Vegas, claiming they had a duty to notice her compulsive gambling problem and cut her off.

"They knew I was going for days without eating or sleeping," Taveras said. "I would pass out at the tables. They had a duty of care to me. Nobody in their right mind would gamble for four or five straight days without sleeping."

In interviews with The Associated Press, Taveras admitted she dipped into her clients' escrow accounts to finance her gambling habit. She was disbarred last June, and faces criminal charges stemming from those actions, but is trying to work out restitution agreements in order to avoid a prison term.

WOW! Another case study in finger pointing and a lack of accountability!: image

She said she even considered swerving into oncoming traffic to kill herself. (Great not even bright enough to kill herself without taking someone else with her. What a stupid Bimbo): image

Gotta love it. My industry gets sued all the time for dumb SH_T. When are the courts going to pass a law like the age old saying "you made your bed, now sleep in it" Anyone ever get the email about the "Stella Awards" The crazyist lawsuits of the year. Check it out sometime

    Stella Awards

    Here is one from 2005:

Michelle Knepper of Vancouver, Wash. Knepper picked a doctor out of the phone book to do her liposuction, and went ahead with the procedure even though the doctor was only a dermatologist, not a plastic surgeon. After having complications, she complained she never would have chosen that doctor had she known he wasn't Board Certified in the procedure. (She relied on the phonebook listing over asking the doctor, or looking for a certificate on his wall?!) So she sued ...the phone company! She won $1.2 million plus $375,000 for her husband for "loss of spousal services and companionship."

That's a bunch of bull feces!

Maybe I should sue Coors Beer for not cutting me off the last time I drank too much and hurled all over my girlfriend. People need to take responsibility for their own actions.
Litigation needs to change so that it is much more difficult to sue over one's own stupidity.

She moved to Minnesota from New York. Now theirs a bright move! Let's see i think their like 20 casinos here.
I bet she tries to sue a casino or two in MN. The next time I'm at the casino I'll see if she's their and have her paged.

Wow! $500,000 a year. Hmmmm. That makes sense to trash that. How many here would love half that?

This woman needs a little jail time if you ask me.

I have not one milligram of pity for her. She's a lawyer, which means she must have the ability to reason, right? She didn't know the core

objective of a casino? Casinos have one objective, to separate the customer from their money, thats it.

They don't build casinos to provide jobs, or to entertain us, or to stimulate economies, they build em to suck money out of the economy.

Having worked in two large casinos here in CT, I have seen judges, lawyers, doctors, engineers, cops, detectives, soccer moms, hookers,

parole officers, social workers, etc... loose everything. I know of a judge, who is 2 million in the hole. How can one excercise sound

judgement in the courtroom, when you moonlight as a high roller? There are two types of gamblers, losers, and liars. The losers loose, and

the liars lie about their losses. One tenth of one percent make a living gambling, everyone else loses long term.

Good luck in a tribal courtroom.

Just gotta love the liberal/regressive culture we live. One is never responsible for their own actions or welfare. Someone else is responsible for our well being for all the things we are entitled to. Clearly this woman is a victim as she was let down by our system. At least we all have learned a lesson from this, don't buy toothpaste when you can use free handy wipes to get the job done.

Just as an aside if she lost this money in a tribal casino then thankfully she has no case. The state or feds wont rule on it, it will end up going to the tribal government and I don't think they would find in her favor against themselves.
