It replaces the 1886-P PO01 in my Lowball Mint Mark Registry Set, which has already found a new home with an equally wacked-out collector.

    I love that coin. It certainly has a more honest look than many Morgans I have that sat in mint bags for a hundred years. Yours got out there lived the life.

    Why'd you sell the '86? Should have committed to a date and mintmark set of lowball Morgans.

    Still haven't made a PO-1 anywhere. Got a few FA-2 ones. Apparently just got my 80-CC AG-3 turned down for a VAM-4 attribution at PCGS. We'll see if the 1887/6-O FA-2 makes it though. I submitted it with the old coin number to avoid the $20 extra fee and make an end run around MF. Such a game huh?

    Am I the only one that can't see the image of the coin...or did Dennis take it down?image

    Edited to add: Holy Schnikees! I don't know what sort of computer gremlin I got. The minute I post to the thread...the image became visible to me. I'm getting out my witches and warlocks book and going to work on my notebook!
