Update On my rolls of dollars I sent out to be liquidated.

Hello, my coin hobbists. I recieved all of my rolls of Morgans and Peace dollars back today safe and sound. Gem Country all though tried to take me for a ride, at $19.00oz for silver maybe they should of offered me more than $6-$8 a coin. Thanks for not making me out to be a stupid Y/N/

Nobody is forcing you to take their offer. You were the one that asked them to make an offer on your coins... if you're displeased by the amount they offer it doesn't necessarily mean they're trying to cheat you. $6 is very, very cheap though. $8 each is on the low end of the spectrum for what is acceptable for someone coming in off the street.
Yaha....go sell them on the BST. Some of the VAM monkeys will likely want some
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Or did they say on the day the coins arrive we will make you an offer?
Also, when was silver 19.00 an oz while these coins were in transit to and fro?
Steve
Had they made any offer before you mailed them, or was their offer going to be contingent on the grades & dates?
Are they a TV marketing firm?

So you were offered $8 a piece... not "$6-$8."
I remember when silver was at $15 I was getting $12 each on ebay bulk lots for lower grade Morgans. Silver was around $17.50 (I'm guessing) when he made you the offer (Feb 19).
Here's an example of what common lower grade Morgans (in bulk) were selling at on Feb 20. link Keep in mind, the link provided is an auction of strictly Morgan Dollars. Peace Dollars sell for less.
That's $13.75 a coin, not taking into account selling expenses. Knock off another 6% or 7% for selling expenses (assuming the buyer uses paypal), and it's about $12.80 a coin. So if this dealer was to sell the coins he was making an offer for he would have made about $95, of course assuming silver doesn't go down in price.
It's a good profit for the dealer, but for a guy running a B&M it's not too ridiculous.
editted for spelling
Im pretty sure he is not a YN
$6-8/ was there offer once they received them?
what was the name of the place ?
if you need the cash, go to a local show - many dealers pay decent prices right there
<< <i>What i don't understand is he mailed them to them, didn't they tell him at that time what the offer was?

If you remember my first post on here about my journey they offered me $17.00 melt, or course that wasn't what the 90% coin was worth. I clearly knew this.
I sent them to Tenn. where their main hub was and I called 2 1/2 weeks later wondering what my offer was, because I already got back my return register receipt for the USPS.
Some heavy breathing shark gets on the phone and told me my submission was simple, he told me although he was a mom/pop operation he puts every coin on his ebay business at $6 a pop no matter what the grade is. I sent alot of sliders and bu's, plus some f/xf coins in the rolls for melt value as promised.
The heart attack dude waiting to happen, told me he didn't blame me one bit, if I were you my friend why don't I open a ebay acct and sell them at a .99 starting price and get shipping for the profit.
Those Morgans will sell for atleast $10/$14 easy, now the other ones you are looking at good money if you take good pictures because they are in Mint State.
I told him once again, I was told a price at his sister company and don't understand who's jerking who, then all of a sudden his breathing started to pick up and he was choking, then he stated say I have a business to run and my time is up here, your coins will be shipped back.
End of story.
