Pictures of my rose colored proof ASE

Although it looks more orange-brown because of my lighting and set up, the color is closer rose color than anything else. The reverese is untoned as pictured.

In the mint box. It was stored without the plastic cover on the obverse. I wanted to see what would happen, removed the cover, and then forgot about for about three years. I was digging through a box of my stuff and came across it.

I wonder if this didn't damage the coin??? Wouldn't these normally tone blue/green?? I collect SAE's myself but I have never heard of this color forming on them. Especially a proof.
