Any guesses on grade for this $20 gold piece?

    Hard to grade from those pics. Looks AU 58 if I had to guess.

    Is there something more definite I should be looking at?

    He's either kidding or just wouldn't know a real one from a counterfeit!

    Photos make me guess AU63. Nice looking coin, but impossible to look for rub.

    Okay, I'll assume by your statement that there could be a counterfeit, so how do you tell??

    I grade the photo overexposed and unevenly lit. I would not take a stab at the numerical grade of the coin.
