You cannot swing a dead cat on these message boards without hitting a thread about Matte Proof Lincolns. These coins seem to be double nuclear white hot. I find these coins attractive, and might take a look at some at the Baltimore show (stickered coins, of course
). Which dealer is the must-see guy for Matte Proof Lincolns?

CURRENT BST OFFERINGS
Brother, go with someone who knows MPLs. I'm sure there are plenty of dealers with MPLs but they are usually picked over by the specialists at the early admission.
Overpay??? Sure. Got a type set? Or a Lincoln registry set? Well if you do, you need one. With so few of these things, they rightfully deserve a decent price tag. These are the true "rare" Licoln cents.
I will be there on Friday and have my current inventory of "6 PCGS MPL's"with me. No sticker's but anyone is welcome to take a look.
I will be walking the floor and taking breaks to chat with Rick Snow at table #603.
<< <i> These are the true "rare" Licoln cents. >>
I suspect that they will become less rare at the recent price levels
Longacre, do yourself a favor and stop by and see Andy and Alynne of Angel Dee's. Very highly recommended, and very nice people. Do a search on the boards here for Angel Dees and you will see I'm not the only one to share this sentiment.

Excellent reference, Andy and Alynne should be visited and the show roster says table 553 is their location.
<< <i>This is actually a good topic. Anyone I should visit in the next Santa Clara show? >>
Angel Dees attends the Santa Clara show and usually has a few MPL's in stock.
I would appreciate a report on how many MPL's you were able to run across while cruising the bourse floor.

Brother, I imagine that the same dealers are at all the major shows. I don't know if the Santa Clara show is in that category or not.
Here is a piece of advice that I think is good. Get connected. Find a good dealer who has a good eye and tell him what you are looking for. This way you have a presence at all the major shows. It's a big ego trip also. Think of it, you have someone calling you about a coin that you are looking for and might be interested in.

Another nice dealer comes to mind. Evan Gale of Aspen Park Rare coins, he has lots of nice copper and sometimes and MPL or two. Table 311 at Baltimore.
